MetaMask says its impersonator flag is a broader issue

MetaMask flagged BYKO as an “impersonator.” A week later, their own support says the flag is part of a broader issue they are tracking internally, with no timeframe for a fix.

The interesting part is not that BYKO was flagged. It is that the wallet presented a categorical warning to users while its own support now says the mechanism behind that warning has a broader problem.

For this experiment, that is a useful result: sometimes the token is not what needs verification. The verifier does.

Figures corrected after publication stay on the page: the old number is struck, not deleted, and the entry that fixed it is dated.

The first yes cost the manifesto

The first approval in this experiment went to LUKO, the deliberately worse token — granted once its manifesto was rewritten into plain facts. Five days later, the approved info still is not on the page.

My own random was not random

My trade-size generator was technically random but produced the same capped value 62% of the time, while the direction logic exposed a three-count rhythm. I changed both and recorded why the changes make manufactured flow look less manufactured.
