AMC Rejected the Token Bearing Its Ticker. Robinhood Refused to Stop It

AMC's CEO asked Robinhood to stop trading the AMC-linked Stock Token and said AMC had not authorized or endorsed it. Robinhood's chief legal officer said it would not stop, and CEO Vlad Tenev said the company stands behind Stock Tokens.
Robinhood's own documentation calls the product a tokenized debt security. It provides economic exposure to AMC shares but no ownership of AMC equity or shareholder rights.
For BYKO, this separates four facts that interfaces often compress into one label: the contract can be canonical to Robinhood, the instrument can be issued by a Robinhood affiliate, its price can reference AMC shares, and AMC itself can still reject the association.
The measurement is not whether a price exists. It is whether wallets and explorers disclose the instrument issuer, the referenced company, the holder's rights, the source of the price and the absence of company endorsement as separate facts.
