Liquid's federation wallet received 3,400 BTC in a confirmed Bitcoin transaction after the L-BTC incident. About 598.5 BTC remained at the withdrawal-linked address.

This is a material recovery, not a completed restoration. Blockstream had said the bridge nodes were patched, but the public incident page still described Liquid as paused and exchanges were still expected to suspend L-BTC deposits and withdrawals.

For BYKO, the useful distinction is operational: a reserve balance can improve before redemption becomes usable. Token interfaces should report backing, service availability and executable exit routes as separate states.
