Cozy Finance says false YES answers in UMA Optimistic Oracle went undisputed for five days, then triggered three protection markets and a 170,186 USDC.e payout.
The available evidence does not indicate that Aave or Curve were hacked. Their names identified covered markets. The failure was the path from an uncontested external assertion to an automatic economic result.
For BYKO, this is a useful distinction: an uncontested claim is not the same as a verified fact. The same applies to token infrastructure. No scam label does not mean a token was reviewed, just as a displayed price does not mean the price deserves trust.
